Volunteer Electrical Item Tester

Make a difference just by being you

Are you good with electrical items, or do you have an interest in electrical gadgets? If so, this could be the volunteer role for you. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Donation Centre. You will be testing donated electrical items, ensuring they are fully functional and safe for sale.

There is no minimum time commitment that we expect from our volunteers so whether you can do a few hours a week or once a month, we’ll do our best to offer a role that fits in with your schedule. Electrical knowledge is helpful but not essential as training will be provided.

What happens next?

If you decide to apply a member of the volunteering team will contact you and ask you to come in for an initial chat. This is not an interview, just a chance to get an idea of how you'd like to help.
